The fourth quarter of the year is well underway and peak short-term rental season is approaching fast!
SEPTEMBER BUSINESS UPDATE
September came to a close with an average daily rate (ADR) of $236 across all property types for our entire portfolio. Our one-bedroom properties took in an ADR of $136, two sat at $195, and three bedrooms achieved $313. For four bedrooms, owners saw a rate of $386 and five or more bedrooms took in $562.
As we move closer to summer, we can expect to see an increase in bookings and rates, with December through to March being particularly lucrative. According to AirDNA, a leading short-term rental data platform, pricing forecasts for the wider Auckland market show a steep peak before the end of March 2024, with an average daily rate of $379 across all property types.
If you are thinking about joining the market - now is the perfect time to do so. While we can have you up and running in a short period of time, it can take time to build traction with reviews, which organically push listings higher in algorithms and rankings.

HAMMOND & CO LAUNCH EVENT
At the end of September The Stay Hub went out to celebrate the successful launch of our sister company, Hammond & Co Property Management. It was a fantastic night with good food, great wine, and even better company.
